The popularity of Sunny beach on the UK market grows. It is indicative that a number of charter flights are re-located from Varna to Bourgas airport. Solving the infra-structural problems will bring more tourists from Belgium and Austria as well.
All accommodations for the next summer season are already booked, says Elena Ivanova, chair of the Union of entrepreneurs. So far the largest number of tourists come from Germany, second next are the British, and Scandinavians are to be on the up soon because several new tour-operators from these countries show interest to the resort. Another issue concerns Russian, Ukrainian, Serbian, Macedonian, etc because of the visa regime.
